America's Cup - Emirates Team New Zealand: Getting Boat 2 Up To Speed

After the completion of the third day of sailing on its new AC72, the hours are beginning to mount up. With each hour on the water the sailing team, design team and shore team are growing more comfortable with putting the boat through its paces and beginning to work toward finding its full capabilities.

After 8 hours blasting up and down the Hauraki Gulf today there were plenty of tired red eyes and big wide smiles from all of the team.  It’s just another step in the long road towards taking this boat to San Francisco later this year with the hope of bringing America’s Cup back to New Zealand.
