Event No. 1 of 7 on the 2013 ASP Women’s World Championship Tour (WCT), the Roxy Pro Gold Coast will resume competition with the Quarterfinals this morning while the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast Round 2 has been placed on standby for a possible start today as well.
“The change in swell direction has prompted this morning’s relocation to Kirra as it’s handling this swell much better than our primary options,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’ll begin competition this morning with the women’s Quarterfinals at 8am and have placed the men’s Round 2 on standby for a possible start today as well.”
Up first this morning will be Tyler Wright (AUS), 18, up against Courtney Conlogue (USA), 20, in the opening heat of the women’s Quarterfinals.
