Greg Long Crowned Big Wave World Tour Champ

Greg Long has been crowned the 2012/2013 Big Wave World Tour champion.  The fourth season of the Big Wave World Tour has successfully been completed. When Long arrived in Peru this past summer it was clear by the look in his eyes that he was there to win it all.

Greg would take his dedication, focus and training and make every final of the 2012/2013 season. His consistency throughout the year was nothing short of spectacular.
 
He placed second at the Billabong Pico Alto event in Peru, third place at the Mavericks Invitation in Half Moon Bay, California and second finish at the Nelscott Reef Big Wave Classic in Lincoln City, Oregon.
 
By the end of the season, Greg would finish nearly 1000pts ahead of his fellow competitors. "It is my honor to pass the torch to another great young man, Mr. Greg Long", stated Peter Mel.
 
Greg Long was followed in the 2012/2013 Big Wave World Tour rankings by Jamie Sterling, Carlos Burle, Peter Mel and Ken Collins.
