NZ Champs and SUP Festival 2013

The 3rd annual NZ SUP festival was an exciting two-day race event attracting paddlers from NZ, Australia and Tahiti to battle it out on the sparkling waters north of the Whangaparoa Peninsula. Leading the 15km downwinder from Army Bay to Orewa was Jeremy Stephenson on a 14'0 Starboard Ace, followed by Jake Jensen (Aus) on a 12'6 Naish LE. Jake took out double gold winning the slalom race on day two, while Annabel Anderson dominated the womens field, making it through to finals in the knockout-heat slalom racing at Orewa beach.
