ORACLE TEAM USA, Luna Rossa Challenge capture championships - America’s Cup World Series

ORACLE TEAM USA SLINGSBY (Tom Slingsby) won the America’s Cup World Series Naples match racing championship over Luna Rossa Swordfish (Francesco Bruni) in a thrilling come-from-behind performance.

In the fleet racing championship it was Bruni’s turn to stage the comeback, passing ORACLE TEAM USA SLINGSBY on the final downwind leg for a 33-second victory.

Bruni’s victory means that for the second consecutive year Luna Rossa Challenge has won the overall championship of America’s Cup World Series Naples.

Slingsby, however, delivered the 2012-13 America’s Cup World Series overall championship for ORACLE TEAM USA.
