Ocean athletes, adventure racers and teams of all ages will compete, as bagpipers and honored veterans of our armed services will gather to take part in this unique beach event – the first of its kind on the Jersey shore. The day will consist of three simultaneous race events–The Stand-Up Paddle Ocean Challenge, a SEAL Team-approved Obstacle Course Challenge, and a Kids Fun Run–as well as a free Patriot Ceremony to honor our veterans and fallen warriors. In keeping with SEAL Team tradition, we are encouraging teams of up to 4 people to compete in the Stand-Up Paddle Ocean Challenge or the Obstacle Course Challenge, but individuals can also register to race on their on. Competitors will be cheered on by spectators representing area schools, businesses, government agencies, law enforcement, bars and taverns, key members of the Chamber of Commerce, and community veteran organizations.
Teams and individuals interested in participating in this event can find race registration information at www.StandUP4SEALs.com.
