With a confirmed field of 22 offshore V-bottom raceboats, the multi-leg Venture Cup offshore endurance race, which will run June 7-14 with a starting point in London, England, and an endpoint of Monte Carlo, Monaco, is still looking for more competitors. According to Richard Carlton, the director of the 2,400-mile event who also will be a competitor once it kicks off, the organizers have been working with Peters & May to make round-trip trans-Atlantic raceboat shipping relative affordable for teams in the United States.
