This year's race features more world class race teams than ever before. No where else in Florida can you witness the thunder of unlimited power boat racing up close and at the beach. The party gets started on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 6pm. Thursday night is the High Octane Kick-Off Party at Juice N' Java Cafe in downtown Cocoa Beach. This event is open to the public with a special VIP area with live music, food, drinks and a chance to meet the race teams and see the power boats up close and personal.

Race Village opens Friday at 9am in beautiful Port Canaveral. Meet the race teams and check out even more of the incredible power boats. Race Village is open from Friday at 9am - Sunday night.
Friday night brings live music, over 20 super boats and adrenaline seeking fans to the heart of Downtown Cocoa Beach for the Thunder On Cocoa Beach Block Party. Don't miss the festivities all day Saturday in Race Village at Port Canaveral. There will be race displays, photo opportunities, food, drinks, a vendor village and our famous Miss Thunder On Cocoa Bikini Contest followed by The Crazy Carls live in concert.

VIP Ticket holders will have VIP access to the Wet Hot Pits at Bluepoints Marina in Port Canaveral. Watch the boats get lifted by crane off their trailers and set into the water for launch. No where else will you be able to get this close to the race boats, hear them start their engines and smell the octane.

Sunday is race day and you can watch it right from your beach chair. There are two races, one at noon and one at 2pm, and they will run from Jetty Park to Lori Wilson park. There is a large area offshore to park your boats and have an amazing seat to catch the action. The Start/Finish Line is at Shepard Park. Turn 1 is at Lori Wilson Park. Turn 2 is at the Cocoa Beach Pier. VIP ticket holders get a great entertainment package. The numerous VIP only sections at each of the race parties are bigger and better than ever with food, entertainment, beer & wine. VIP's also get a premium viewing spot right on the beach in one of our three VIP Chalet's at your choice of the Cocoa Beach Pier, Shepard Park or Lori Wilson Park.
